My dog, a rottweiler named Max, died 5 years ago when I was 26 years old. He had what the vet said was a degenerative nervous system disorder and had to be put asleep. I cried at home later that day. The next day, I watched my father who was suffering from cancer, die while on a respirator hours after going into cardiac arrest and into a coma. I didn't cry about his death ever. Some reason I felt more attached to Max than to my father. That dog was my best friend. We played together a lot and he was always happy to see me. My father always kept to himself, was in a bad mood, and ate dinner and watched TV in his room away from the rest of the family. Although he did pay the bills, I did not feel close to him at all. Is it sick or wrong though to value the relationship of a dog more than that with one's father?

my skin is constantly oily and nothing seems 2 b working. my medications r failing. i swim twice a day everyday and the chlorine isnt even helping. ive even put cucumbers on my face.

The advantage of ending censorship or prohibition is that the "naughty" or "super cool" factor fades fast. Legalise heroin and let users sign a legal declaration that they are are addicts and watch the heroin rate initially rise and then eventually plummet.drop. Study the US alcohol Prohibition of the 1930s which resulted in organised crime, violence and killings. Shouldn't prohibition be limited to specific categories of citizens such as minors and felons?

What characteristics and/or physical features attract you to a potential date/mate?
Personally when it comes to characteristics, I prefer someone intelligent, hard working with a great sense of humor.
Down to earth, honest and sincere. Of course kindness and compassion. I dig nerds (not your typical 'Revenge of the Nerds nerd), but a guy that is just down to earth and altruistic.
As for looks, well, I have a fancy for dark hair and eyes.....but light eyes are nice too!

i was reading others answer it reminded me of when we had a fuel pump go out we were 20 miles from town we filled the windshield washer resivor with gas and put the hose down the vent on the carb when the car started to sputter we hit the wash button and filled the carb up we went 35 miles like this without a fire and no lid on the wash resivor

I'm done and tired of the emotional abuse.I'm tired of feeling like I'm nothing. As prior military, I'm sick of hearing people say,"Soldiers know exactly what they are getting into when they signed on the dotted line." How the H.E.L.L. would you know? Have you served in the military? I served honorably for 4 years in United Stated Marine Corps and I had no idea what I was getting into when I signed on the dotted line. Military life was a huge shock for me, but I don't regret having served. I dare you to talk to a recruiter, listen to what he/she has to say, enlist, then compare it to what military life is really like. You'll have a rude awakening. Then when some idiot says that you knew exactly what you were getting into, you'll be in my place. Those soldiers are defending your right to tell these lies so the least you can do is shut your mouth, not give your opinion on something you know nothing about, and show respect where it's due.
