What characteristics and/or physical features attract you to a potential date/mate?
Personally when it comes to characteristics, I prefer someone intelligent, hard working with a great sense of humor.
Down to earth, honest and sincere. Of course kindness and compassion. I dig nerds (not your typical 'Revenge of the Nerds nerd), but a guy that is just down to earth and altruistic.
As for looks, well, I have a fancy for dark hair and eyes.....but light eyes are nice too!

Honesty is a must she must be comfortable in her own skin meaning not want to look different she must have a light that shine from her eyes and a smile that is real she must love God more then her self and knows that love can not be bought.

A womans eyes are the first thing I concentrate on. Body language can lie, but the eyes never do.
A kind voice, patience, man, what I wouldn't do for that!

A great sense of humor, a sense of confidence and big boobs. (No, I'm making fun of myself).
The first two are important, with a caring attitude to complete the picture.
