I'm writing my engineering experiance biography for P.Eng. license of Ontario. One of the five quality-based criteria is Social Implications of Engineering. What do I need to include there? Im trying to figure out what the implications are for a father in the USA who is paying child support for his kids (2 girls) but has arrears due to career transitions and all. I understand he is not able to leave the country (he says); they wont let him do that while he is paying child support? I dont understand how this works and how long you keep being barred from travelling? He is very much a part of his kids' lives and he has them every summer. Can you actually get a passport while your owe child support money? Please shed some light.

I like to cook with chili peppers, but the capsaicin makes the skin on my fingers burn for days sometimes. I've tried wearing gloves or holding the peppers with plastic wrap when I cut them, but somehow I always end up with some of the oil on my skin.

I've heard that dairy products can help, and I've tried soaking my fingers in milk, but it didn't do much good. Any other ideas?

I need a free website hosting site that supports ASP.NET (2.0) websites/applications.
I found one, but my site uses MS SQL, and that site won't allow that in their free package. I'm either looking for a site that does, or I have a different question:
I've created a site in Visual Studio 2005 using the template it came with to base my site on. It uses MS SQL; is there any way to remove that dependency, or use an access database, or something? Even if someone could tell me what the database does, it would be very helpful.

i realize that christians follow a war god known to some as jehovah and to others as the iam god. but what would it prove to you if christians took over the world and what would it solve?

heres what i think ending the world wouldnt solve anything ending christianity would solve the hatred and the religious wars that are going on in our own back yards and may even solve some of the nasty so called "non true christian" joke since if you call your self a christian you are a christian no matter what..

I'm hispanic, and I was appalled to read that California courts have put a stay on the law that requires high school students to pass an exit exam before graduating.

The fact of the matter is that most schools are not teaching the kids, they just plain aren't. So until something better comes along, an exit exam is the only way to measure that kids are being educated throughout the state. And what is worse, these tests are based on 10th grade material, and still many can't pass it.
