A "mac" is a nickname used to describe computers made by Apple Computers (the ones that make iPods)- they make both the computer (hardware) and the operating system, Mac OS X Tiger, (software) that you use on an Apple computer

A "PC" is a computer that runs the Windows operating system (made by Microsoft) on a third party computer (made by Dell, HP, Compaq, etc.)

mac is good for Apple computers n windows is good on Intel... I find windows more user friendly than mac... some softwares or games dont work on mac...
