She shouldn't have to be black just because Star was. It 'should' be about who's best.

I definitely think the show needs a black woman. I can see a bunch of white chicks sitting around talking any time. I miss Star and I hope they replace her with another intelligent woman (any age) who's not afraid to speak her mind. I also learned a lot of cultural things from Star, which I liked hearing about.

I think the view will try and replace Star with another black co-host. The view tends to keep host replacements in the original segment of society the former host represented. When the original 'gen x-er' quit, they started a nation wide search for the new one, eventually picking Lisa Ling who was later replaced by another gen x-er, the blonde girl from survivor.

No I think it should be someone with some personality and can laugh at themselves like Meridith and Joy. Whoever it is I hope that'll mean Barbara won't have to be on every single day. She's annoying to me.

It shouldn't matter but it most likely will. There's very little diversity on the show already and they just iced the black woman on the show for the past few years. They'll probably go to Holly Robinson-Peete or someone along those lines for a replacement.

Has to be, no. Will be? Most likely. Although I hate to say it, they will probably bring in a black woman who also speaks her mind so they can maintain the audience that liked Star Jones, and try to bring in more as well. It's all about ratings and the dynamics that go into them.

Same as Sandra Day O'Conner's replacement had to be a woman (who ended up resigning anyway)

No why does everything have to be black and white? She got so full of herself that they just couldn't take her anymore. Now she looks like a fat women trapped in a skinny girls body.
