i realize that christians follow a war god known to some as jehovah and to others as the iam god. but what would it prove to you if christians took over the world and what would it solve?

heres what i think ending the world wouldnt solve anything ending christianity would solve the hatred and the religious wars that are going on in our own back yards and may even solve some of the nasty so called "non true christian" joke since if you call your self a christian you are a christian no matter what..

for those who think i am a atheist.. get a clue i am a SPIRITUALIST with a brain to know that christianity isnt a religion for me

You are right! God is a God of peace, but he is also a God of war when he needs to be..
The end of the world would solve ALL of the world's problems..
Jesus will take over the world, not the Christians in general, but the CHRIST of Christianity and he will rule is Holiness
There would be:
No more sin.
No more death
No more hunger
No more crying
No more disease
No more fighting
Need I go on. Jesus will be ruling over the whole earth and it will be beautiful. Why wouldn't a Christian want to be there..

So was this a serious question or just another " christians are so stoopid" rant?

Christians arent devising some plan to take over the whole world and blow it up or somthing.

And just because someone calls themself a Christian doesnt make them one. My dictionary says a Christian is : Following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus. If somone just says they are a Christian but never puts any thought into it, never follows the teachings of Jesus and only uses religion as ammunition against others, that does not make them a Christian at all.

"for those who think I am a atheist... get a clue" Get a clue? How would we know if you were a Spiritualist or not, just by your 3 previous sentences?

But I appreciate your "ending christianity" comment,
your swastika bedsheets should be out of the wash sweety

The end of this world means the restoration of the Edenic paradise earth without the problems of today.

Interestingly, the Scriptures are full of references to this earthly hope.
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
(Revelation 21:3) The tent of God is with mankind

Who is running the world of today? And why do not more bible readers perceive the earthly hope, even among so-called "Christians"?
(2 Corinthians 4:4) The god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.

I'm not sure where you get your information, sir, but Christians don't want the world to end. I've never said that and I don't know of any other Christian who ever has said that they want the world to end.
We believe that Christ will return to collect His followers from the earth to live with Him for eternity and that there will be judgement and plagues put on the earth. This is found in the Bible. We believe this will happen, but we don't exactly want the world to end. That is a false statement.
If you wonder why Christians get so snippy and angered when we are questioned, reread your question from a perspective other than your own and you will see that it is pretty insulting for a Christian to read. We don't get offended by being questioned. We get offended by being scoffed at and mocked intentionally or unintentionally.

Jehovah is nothing more than another name of God. As is I Am. I Am means God, in fact.

Christians invading the world would never happen, I have no clue where you get this from.

But as to the question why Christians want the world to end so badly... Christians (True Christians, not just those that call themselves Christians. A true Christian is one who believes Christ died on the cross to pay for our sins) know that when the world ends, it signifies the second coming of Christ. This is when he takes all the Christians up to heaven, free of all wordly troubles forevermore.

The end of this world would come. Those who believe in God would go to what he has promised, a new earth. According to the Bible there will be none of the horrible things this world has such as murder, lying, stealing, cheating.
The religious wars that go on in our own backyards, are not started by Christians from what I see, but other religions who shout out for tolerence yet do not tolerate Christianity.

Who says Christians want the world to end? I for one am a Christian and I dont want the world to end. And in regards to the religious wars, ending Christianity would not change those nor any other war that is going on. If you dont believe Christianity is for you than that is your opinion but please get your facts straight before making assumptions.

Sorry, but I am a christian that is not explicitly hoping for the world to end. However I am looking forward to the time that I will be in the presence of my Creator.

At some point in the future, the world will be ruled by christians under the leadership of Christ himself (after the tribulation, Christ rules for 1,000 years).

Christians don't WANT the world to end, the bible tells us that christ will return and rule. As for being hateful, I think you have Christianity confused with Islam.

We as Christians will be going home.(HEAVEN) in the end. where will you be going. There's still time just cry out to the Lord and ask his forgiveness and you shall be saved, and you also will know where you will go in the end times.
God bless you
