why cant the Americans say something like this: Any illegal mexicans in the US have to get out by a given date, if the illigal mexicans are still in the US by the given date, they can be punished or killed. that would scare most of the mexicans away, why cant americans think of something like that?

I'm getting married in just over 8 weeks and I'm trying to lose a bit of weight. I eat sensibly and I have started exercising as well but in addition to this I want to count my fat gram intake but I have never done this before.
What foods should I avoid and what can I eat without worrying? Also is there a certain amount of grams I should have in a day or is there a rule with regards to how many fat grams something have per 100 grams?

Preferably a Polynesian or Samoan, I really like to see those but any tribal over all. The meaning is important too. If it doesn't have one that’s really good but God know is don't want something that says "I love the Devil" or "eat me" when it supposed to say "blessed" or "truth" lol :-) Oh and if the site is free that would be really cool too:-D

What I mean is, if I were to snap my fingers and make the Sun vanish into nothingness, would it take the 8 minutes or so for the Earth to feel the effect (due to the universal 'speed limit'), or would it happen immediately? I have some basic understanding of field theory, and the theoretical carrier of the gravitational force, the graviton, so feel free to throw up a fairly technical answer (just not the maths behind it, LOL).

P.S. Oh yeah, no answers from proponents of 'plasma cosmology', it's a bunch of hooey.

And it's not even because of the political slant, either (I'm liberal). You can make any sort of slant work, if it's funny. This strip, to me, is not funny. It just takes some political issue, gives us a lecture, and forgets to tell a joke.

Another runner-up is Garfield. Why, why, WHY has Jim Davis not retired yet? After 20+ years of drawing a strip, what usually happens is that the cartoonist will run out of original material and resort to lame pop-culture references. Now, pop-culture references can work, but if it's used as a last resort, it's pathetic. This is the exact reason Bill Watterson stopped drawing Calvin and Hobbes after just ten years: he didn't want it to end up like Garfield.

So what does everyone else think? What's your least favorite comic strip, and why?
