Shouldn't the former employees of Enron each be legally allowed to take a dump on his corpse?

I can't believe some of you are actually wasting the energy it takes to type a defense of this prick. This is the guy who encouraged people to buy more Enron stock even as he was dumping his own because he knew the company was about to go bankrupt. He ruined literally thousands of employees' and investors' lives because he wasn't satisfied with the millions he already had. My mother can't retire till she's 75 because of him and his accomplices. As for his family, they reaped the benefits of his greed, they should suffer the consequences as well.

I like the insurance idea, but it should include ALL his assets. I'd like to see the body to make sure he's really dead and didn't fake his death and is enjoying life somewhere in the South Sea Islands. If there's a quick cremation, this could be possible. I hate to be a cynic but these people will do anything for themselves; they have no consciences. Please see the movie "The Boys in the Back Room." I think that's the name (or close to it). It's about the rise and fall of ENRON. Talk about playing the people for saps!!! And they're proud of it.

Yes, if he were actually dead and not just relaxing in the Caymans while counting his money.

They did the same thing in the 1980's with the Contragate trial. They pinned everything on one guy (Casey) who magically died at the end of the trial before sentencing. Casey was head of the CIA at the time. Think he had any trouble faking his death and getting himself a new identity? How close was Lay to the Bush administration? Is it starting to all fall into place?

The question really should be who has priority? The employees of Enron or every resident of California?

Man, that would be a big pile of cr#p.

he was a bad person, but i wouldnt take it that far. i believe he died for a reason and the people at enron should just be thankful that he is no longer able to do such a thing ever again.

they should all get some type of financial reward either from insurance or a will or somethin....sell everything in his house, sell the car, put the wife on the streets, or whatever it takes to get the former employees their money back....thats all just screwed up how it happened

I would not be surprised if it turns out he faked his death and has escaped the country and is now living in luxury in some place like the French Riviera, or Martinique, someplace quite nice.

Not sure about that, but it will cause issues with his estate, because everyone and their brother are going to sue to stop his family from getting his money, holdings and real estate holdings.

The question I have is; did he kill himself by taking a chemical that looks like a heart attack.

The feds should freeze his assets, take it and split it among former employees. Let his family not get a dime from his crimes.

Surely you don't think he really died do you? Wouldn't that just be so convenient. I can hear the conspiracy hounds already digging into "facts" that will doubt the man really died.
