is there a freeware program that i can edit videos. Like take out a part and save that as a file

lol windows movie maker is a good program to use and is free because its already on your computer or so i think... with windows movie maker u can import videos and cut/edit them. U can also had video effects which makes it pretty cool

Yes, and if you are running Windows XP, it is already on your PC. It is called Window's Movie Maker. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > you should have an icon for Window's Movie Maker.

you will choose a minimum of four gigabytes of ram and a good processor, i might use Intel i5 or i7. as far as i understand, video enhancing application does not use hardware acceleration on GPU, so which you do not want a good photograph card.
