I generally read contemporary fiction. Quality stuff. Not mass-market paperbacks, not romance, not whodunits, not fantasy novels. My most recent favorite was Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides, which won a Pulitzer.

Indiana, where I live, has made them legal but Illionois hasn't. People set fireworks off day and night and it scares the crap out of my yourng niece and my pets. I think town firework shows are great but I hate that people can set off home ones. What do you think?
