It's something about your words... Kinda appalling..
Do we really mean the things we say? Or are we pretending to be 'more polite' persons than we already are?
As for your question: I don't believe you really want to know the truth

Whether or not abortion is wrong is in each person's mind.
I am opposed to abortion, for myself. I will not judge anyone else who chooses to have one.
There are many cases where abortion is right -- I remember a case in Europe a few years ago, an 11 year old girl had been raped and got pregnant, abortion was illegal in the country (sorry I do not remember which) she lived in, and she went to the court asking to have an abortion, but they refused. So her parents took her out of the country, but by then it was too late for an abortion. The little girl was forced to have a baby conceived by rape, so she was forced to go through that rape experience day after day after day. No it was not the baby's fault she was raped. But she was just a little girl herself, and the emotional and physical damage done to her by having the baby was too great to inflict on one little child. Extreme anti-abortionists never see this. They want to protect the rights of the unborn baby, but do not see what it could be doing to the living person.
By the same token, abortion should not be used as birth-control. I personally know a girl who has had three abortions. That is extreme and she should invest in condoms, or something else.
When the chance of severe harm to the mother or the baby exists, abortion can be a legitimate option.
It is a very hard debate.

It's always kind of strange to me people who are so against abortion, it's a sin, it's so bad, it's murder....but when a situation like this comes along, "Oh, no I don't think it's wrong in this situation." When it comes to abortion, there is no halfway point. You're either pro-choice, or pro-life, no in between. I'm pro-choice, I always have been. I'm very sorry for your friend, she should never have gone through such a horrible thing, and by someone she trusted. Had I been her, I would have aborted, too. And maybe to some people that sounds bad, because yes there are such things as adoption, but think about all the unwanted children already in the system, going from one home to the next-and there are monsters in the system, too. People who adopt or foster just for the money. I know it's not everyone, but a few of my cousins went through the system their whole lives and they are so messed up today.
Nobody can judge your friend. If she felt like she did the right thing, than that's between her and God. Nobody can tell her what to do because they have no idea what she's been through.

I think she should have. Aside from embarassment the baby is more prone to genetic disorders. Genetic disorders can be very tragic.
A family friend had a child with a rare genetic disorder where her stomach was where her heart was. It was found within the first trimester. Since her parents decided not to abort her, she had her first surgery when she was one week old. It cost $1 million. she had to have a major operation every week of her life. She died shortly before operation #40. She never left the hospital. Insurance stopped paying at $20 million. Her parents had to file for bankruptcy and are still paying off the remaining $20 million. The dad's a store manager, the mom owns a daycare. It wasn't just the money, the parents wish they had aborted her after they saw her suffer throughout all the surgeries. I saw her after surgery #10. It looked like a car had run over her chest.

We cannot justify a wrong by doing another wrong thing! So in this case, she should not have aborted the baby. Yes, she didnt willfully sin, but the course your friend took is still her own free will. She still has a choice in the matter. She can come to the police, report the wrongdoing of her own father, and carry the baby for 9 months. After that, there are still a lot of options she can take. She can have it for adoption, she can be a mother to it (if she finds that in her heart). But in everything we do, we should think of the consequences. Hence, your friend and her father are at fault. The child has nothing to do with it. It is the child`s right to be born.

First of all, the majority do not believe abortion is wrong. The statistics in the USA are somewhere around 60+% are pro-choice which does not necessarily mean they are pro-abortion; but rather, they believe it is an issue for the woman to decided within herself.
Ok with that said, it always amazes me how a lot of anti-abortion ppl will be so quick to call it murder of an innocent life then turn around and say 'but it's ok in the situation of incest or rape.' That makes no sense... either it's murder or not.
I personally recognize that no human being on earth can answer that question... only GOD can. We have no way of answering for GOD. Only he knows if he recognizes a fertilized embryo as a person.
Also, our society unplugs ppl dependent on life support machines in hospitals everyday but we do not call that murder. Why? Is it because that life is 'dependent'? Because a fertilized embryo is also 'dependent'.

I don't think that abortion would be WRONG> That baby could have severe birth defects and that poor girl should NOT be forced to go through a 9 month ordeal for what that abomination of a man did to her.
There are medical reasons where abortion should be legal, because the baby would be so deformed, OR the birth could kill the mother. I also think in the case of rape, the morning after pill or abortion should be a legal option CERTAINTLY so in the case of incest.
That man should be castrated.

I believe there are certain circumstances that abortion is OK as long as the person can mentally handle it otherwise having the child and letting it go for adoption is another good alternative. Anyone raped should have that choice - she did not ask to be pregnant nor was she in anyway irresponsible. It's those people that in full knowledge of the consequences are the being in the wrong. You should not being having sex unless you can deal with the consequences of your actions. Pregnancy, STD's, and AIDS.

Most people don't think abortions are wrong. It is only catholism and some US citizens who does.
Ofcourse she should have had an abortion. The child would be born a freak, and a living symbol of the absolute worst thing your friend has experienced. It would live an absolutely horrible life, further ruining it's mother's.

I don't think she was wrong at all, she was in a terrible situation that should have never happend how ever i am Pro-Choice when it comes to things like this, i belive you are a good friend and you should keep supporting her, with you she can get thru the PaiN,Anger and Possible Depression. And carrying the baby full term would have did more harm than good, how in there right mind would want to give birth to there Daughter/Sister, Adoption is out of the question, and those people who say she should have carried it full term, stick yourself in her shoes (What the Hell would you do?)

No. And anybody that says so has never been in that situation. Rarely you will find anyone who has had an abortion say it was wrong, unless they were pressured to believe otherwise. It's not a favorable course of action, but circumstances are different for everyone. As for your friend, she needs to contact the police, and if she aborted her baby herself, she needs to see a doctor.
