Ok heres the short version of everything. I started a new job about 5 months ago and I still dont talk to anyone there, including my boss, my coworkers, customers, I just feel like such a loner, I try but I just cant seem to get along with anyone they are all so different from me, its the same way in life, ever since i was 17 or so i just turned into a big loner, I actually dont even mind it that much but I have 0 friends, my girlfriend doesnt really have any either and life is just starting to get a little boring for me. Whats a loner to do? Should I keep trying and failing with people or just accept life as a loner?

I know that this is a REALLY weird question, but it is raining real hard right now where I live. I was just wondering how many raindrops people receive when it rains. My friend, who is 16, just sent me an IM and told me that she was raped last week. She said that on the last night of a church camp, she met a guy (who is 18). Apparently they went to his truck and started making out. She told me that up until that point, she was wanting to have sex with him, but she was still a virgin, and got scared. From what she tells me, she told the guy "no" and he ignored her. She said that she cried and kept telling him to stop, but he didn't stop. My question is, is this considered to be rape? She said that she is going to the doctor next week and see what they tell her. Oh, and apparently, he did not use protection. What should she do up to this point? Please help, I am 19, but I have never been in this situation and have no clue what to tell her. Any suggestions would help.

Our daughter is 5 months. She would ONLY sleep in her cradle swing. Dr said it was ok, but we knew she couldnt sleep in it forever. We slowly transitioned her to the point where she was ready for the crib. 1st night was bad-she finally went down after 5 hours & slept only 6 hours in the 24 hour day (13 is usual!)The next night it took 4 hours to get her to sleep & she awoke at 3am & did not want to go back to the crib. I didnt want to put her back in the swing, because I thought that would make the transition more confusing & harder & cause more tears in the long run. I knew that if I went in there and picked her up, she would be up for the rest of the day on 5 hrs sleep and she was already lethargic from being sleep deprived. I knew she needed to sleep so her little body wouldnt go through exhaustion. Going in and soothing makes her cry worse, so I couldnt. She cried for 30 min & slept-hasnt had a problem since. But I feel guilty for not answering her cries.Did I do the right thing?
