Cats are not ungrateful. They love unconditionally, but unlike dogs they all have distinct personalities. Look a little closer and you'll find yours. I have two right now, have had many and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Better than any man I've ever had in my life. They know when you're sick, and they don't ask for much. Enjoy!

Cats are NOT ungrateful.. they just appear that way.. Their temperament is different from that of a dog... they are INDEPENDENT in nature.. I can call my dog and she will come.. I call the cat and she WILL hear me but she will not look until she gets ready to look.. That is what makes a kitty so nice... independent Little tike's

They aren't ungrateful, they just know they can take care of themselves, if you don't want to bother. They aren't as dependent on humans as dogs are, that's all. Cats do give love and affection, if not gratitude.

Same reason most people are. My cats are spoiled and the only time they "appreciate" anything is when i give them catnip because I limit them to having it once a week. Cats are fickle creatures with independent personalities, you just learn to live with it I guess.

I love cats. They are very loyal if you are loyal to them. If they feel like loving you, they will. If they want love they will come to you and my cat is always there for me. Now my dogs need so much attention that they drive me crazy but my cat just want love.
