I pitted over 60 cups of cherries off our cherry tree to make jam. I also was the one who picked the cherries, so my hands are in bad shape. I would appreciate your help. Thanks

Wow- that's a lot of cherries!! The best thing I can think of is to go to www.askheloise.com and ask her- I'm thinking lemon and salt or something along those lines?

I too have had that happen, and the only way I was able to get some of it out, was with comet, and I used a scrubbing brush for the nails. Then after make sure you use lots of hand cream. Have a Happy Easter.

Lemons. Cut into half and put your nails in it. The acidity works to whiten your nails.

Wow this is the 2nd question I answered tonite with the reply "Lemons" There is alot you can do with a lemon. Just google it and find out for yourself. :)

You might try washing with glycerin and rinsing with vinegar and water.

You might also try washing with colloidal oatmeal (Aveeno bath oatmeal works well) to soothe your hands.

That jam is going to taste fabulous, given your hard work. Enjoy it!
