What the Bible says about the End of the World
The end will come within the lifetime of Jesus's listeners.

"Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." -- Matthew16:28

"But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God." -- Luke 9:27

"Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation." -- Matthew 23:36

"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." -- Matthew 24:34

"Nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." -- Matthew 26:64

"Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power." -- Mark 9:1

The end will come within the lifetime of the the New Testament authors.

"But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none." -- 1 Corinthians 7:29

"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." -- 1 Thessalonians 4:17

"Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son...." -- Hebrews 1:2

The end will come soon. (Within a couple thousand years or so.)

Has anyone wondered what happened to ICQ? It seems like it just suddenly died out and after a while, everyone starts using MSN instead. Maybe this would happen to MSN soon and Yahoo! Messenger might be the next big thing. But then again, why isn't anyone using ICQ now, why did it just died out then?

Another odd end of the world question. If some poor scientist happens to let some strange matter loose on our unsuspecting universe, how long do you think it would take to (whaddaya call it? devour? engulf? transform?) everything on earth into strange matter? Would it spread outward into the universe? Would this be the end of everything?

I have the ZUMA game loaded on my computer. I reached level 12 and beat what I thought was the last level. But another level appeared, and it was in outer space. I lost all of my lives there and thought, "oh well, it will just take me back to the beginning of that new level." WRONG!!! I had to back to 12-1 which again, is what I thought was the last level. Can anyone tell me why this one level, the one "beyond" what I thought was last, does not save in that level, so that you just begin again where you left off? THat is how all of the other levels work. I hope someone can help! Thanks!

I have an IUD and dont get my period, I have somewhat bad lower back pain that doesnt really seem to go away, my breast are tender and i have a pain on my lower right side pelvic that doesnt hurt unless you apply some pressure to it, but i can tell its there without the pressure

My boyfriend's roomate feels that if I come to visit for a weekend, I should clean the house and buy/cook a dinner in exchange for being there. We are all adults in our 30's. I certainly don't eat up the groceries (I buy what I eat) and clean up any "mess" I make. I've never heard of this and wonder if anyone else has? Is this unrealistic? My boyfriend has never asked me to do this. His roomate told me about this.
