If you really desire a ship, go here.

I'd just get the sedative everyone else mentioned and get there in 20 hours instead of 3 months.

I would imagine that you could take a cruise ship, which would be quite expensive, but they might allow you to keep the cats in your compartment [ room ] - - I would imagine on a cargo ship, they would end up going as freight, is that your idea - - who would feed them and give them water and the love they obviously get from you.. that is not a good idea.. the ideas above about the sedatives are pretty good suggestions.. if you knock them out and keep them together so they will have each others company, that might be the best solution... they will be fine either way because they are lucky to have such a caring owner.. choke dee mahk jung loi.. - and you might want to consider a sedative for yourself as well if you fly with them..

Airline & Sedative is your best choice. Try for a direct flight to avoid loosing them in connections. Multiple labels on their crate with the address you will be in Thailand. Unless you get written pre-approval from The Thai government that the animals can be pre-screened in your country there is a high likelyhood that they will have to remain in quaranteen for a few weeks in Thailand. That would be more traumatic for them than the airline trip. Unless you are moving there for a long time the cats would be happier if left at home with someone checking on them every few days.

Flying them will be the best option as it will be the fastest mean to get to Thailand. I am sure if you can look up a pet mover company, they will be able to help you in arranging your cats for the journey. They will be able to advise on any quarantine issue with the customs there too. Check around with the pet shops on how their pets are transported to overseas destination. I am sure your cats will be taken care of during and after the flight.
It will not be so hard on you too as the duration for the trip will be in term of hours, not days.
Do check out with the pet movers. You need not do it yourself.

how long is the flight time
the best option is to get sedatives from a vet and dose them
they should be able to manage the flight that way

I'd be more concerned how you are going to get them back. Cat, mmm, tasty.
