I keep clicking sleep but it keeps on working and even when I leave it on for a while it still keeps on working thus wasting my batteries any idea why or how I can fix this?

My 11 yr old was diagnosed a year ago. At first the surgeon she was referred to at Arkansas Children's Hospital said she would have to have surgery eventually and that bracing wouldn’t do any good. Her curvature is about 70 %. When we went back for her 3 mo check up it had not progressed since her last visit and he said if it stays at 70% we would only operate for cosmetic reasons. By the way her surgeon is world renowned and has been on discovery channel. So, has anyone been through this that will offer some advice? The surgery is 8hrs long, putting a steal rod and pins in my child’s back scares the (bad word) out of me! but I don't want her to be made fun of or have an old lady hunch back when she's 40. What to do?

Why don't people just do what they think makes them a good person and not what a book or church leaders tell them that makes them a good person? God gave us the power to choose, so why can't we make our own choices about what is good and what's not?

and dont say it's because "what the bible says" because i dont believe in the bible. I think it was writen by people (and god had no hand in it) and people were ignorent and believed it.

ps. don't report me because i'm saying things that "are against your religion" because i have freedom of speach. I'm not insulting anyone, i'm just giving my opinion
