I have heard the same thing, I ate it in moderation, as with a lot of other things I just wouldn't eat it every day. My son had no health problems because of it.

Do not eat sandwich meat unless you are able to cook it 1st. put it on a skillete or something but not straight out of the package it can cuase a lot of damage to the kid. if possible just bite the bullet and forget about Subway. Why take the chance. IF NOT CERTAIN GO BY WHAT YOUR DR TOLD YOU ONLY.

I have never heard this and I'm on my 3rd pregnancy. The only thing that I'm aware of that we can not eat is certain fish, like shark and tuna and some others. But I have had Subway about 10 times and I'm 35 weeks. My baby is 100% healthy. If you are really concerned ask your doctor. The clinics are state run and they have their own weird rules.

Lunch meats can have small amounts of listeria. Though it's not always harmful to adults it can pose a slight risk to young children and infants. To help prevent the risks of listeria then microwave the meat for a few seconds and that kills the bacteria.
It's not real common but can happen. Overall you should be fine.

daisygoddessjmi is correct with her list of no no's. There lurks a bacteria in certain foods that may cause miscarriage or birthdefects. The meats you refer to however is processed meats and left over meats. This bacteria is not harful to yourself but could be harmful to a developing baby if large amounts are found in the food you eat. Another thing to add to your list of no no's is soft cheeses as in brie, cream cheese, feta etc. For the same reason. Try this website www.babycenter.com for more info.

I was never told that when pregnant and sandwiches were a must then : )
I have never heard of getting that from lunchmeat because you are pregnant. Best advice is talk to your Dr. and remember alot of people will give you welll intentioned advice when you are expecting, and if you listen to it all you will scare yourself to death. Always talk to your Dr about your fears or concerns, he is there for you and will stear you in the right direction. Also anything can be bad for you just practice moderation and you will be fine.

yes, I just got a packet with all the no-no's and it said not to eat runny eggs, things with raw eggs in it-like caesar dressing, hot dogs or deli meats, unless heated until steaming hot and then the obvious stuff like certain fish, alcohol and drugs. Also aspartame and caffeine should only be ingested in small amounts.
