Name calling has been popular for decades and one is not always sure if by calling a person a name if it is poking fun of his or her looks or does it mean something completely different like how he or she acts.

I personally have been the receiver for years of name calling. People who do name calling are usually pretty insecure about their own selves. Name calling can also be interpreted to bullying. People that bully others are extremely insecure about their lives and about their affairs in life. Some people that are bullys hide their true feelings behind the mask they have created somewhere in their life time.

As for the other way, comparing someone to a animal, isn't very good ither. It doesn't profit the person hearing that nor does it profit the person saying it.

My suggestion is the two of them sit down together and talk things out. Talk about each other's feelings and problems. If they don't do this now and clear the air, I doubt they will make it when they get married.

I wish the two of them luck and true happiness.

Basically calling her an ostrich means she is not facing up to her problems or the problems in the relationship. The old belief is that ostriches hide their heads in the sand and think they are safe.

This usually means the person is hiding their head in the ground like an ostrich.

Mostly it means the person is not facing responsibility and hiding or making excuses for low performance.
