you really can't highlight blond hair unless you want to go crazy-hair.you need to put the color on your rooted area and use your blond hair for the highlights.it really looks cool I know cause I'm a blond and a retired hairdresser.good luck

If you're blonde, you definitely don't want to do highlights. LOWLIGHTS would make more sense since "highlights" are supposed to be lighter than your natural color. Lowlights in dirty blonde or maybe strawberry blonde would look cool, but it depends on your skin tone and the look that you are going for.

Highlights really don't show up on blonde hair. You either have to go pale blonde almost white, or put in lowlites to make your blonde hair seem blonder.

If you have blonde hair you want lighter than you hair so I would say a color not more than 2 shades lighter than your hair.

my professional opinion is that with blonde hair very light streaks look good cause if you go with darker colors the growout looks funny. you could also go for a blonde that is like one shade lighter than your natural, i have done this on clients and it looks awesome!

I like strawberry blonde my sister has them in her light blonde hair and it looks really good.
