I love that book!
If you are asking what the moral of the story is, it would have to be the line "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."

(I guess not everyone that answered has read the book.)

I think that the Little Prince would say that the meaning of life is to be at home in your environment.

Once he was stuck on earth and could never go back to B612 he was willing to risk ending his physical life, literally everything, to go back home. The examples earlier in the book, such as the sheep in the box and the Turkish astronomer support this conclusion.

love

I have read the book many times, and love is what I think describe his meaning the most.
And I don't mean that yuckylove with "oh I love you so much" but the genreal cind where you are fond of your enviorment and want to take care about your souroundings. (english language is a bit hard sometimes as there is just one word for love. no wonder there is war)
