I just got assulted by a guy who I know little bit. He came saying he wanted to talk, but he hit me twice on the face. I did call police but did not want him arrested or anything because he was friend of friend of mine.
I do not want to do anything legally, but I want to make sure I get my medical bills covered, because I have a broken tooth. Can I sue this person when I told police that I did not want to press charge on him?

i was in a relationship for 2 years and he called his self breaking up with me because he said i was tripping to hard on him when he would leave for 5 hours and wouldnt call or check up on me mind u we were in the same building at this time. so when we broke up we were still messing around... 1 day i had came to his house and he was holding another girls hand... this was like a week after we broke up so i threw my keys toward his face and they missed so i punch him in his face because i had felt so disrespected because he had told me to come back and for me to come back and 2 c that.. was just totally a let down for me... let me know how u would have handled it and what u felt i should have done differently

I have a friend who likes to send me right-wing conservative Christian chain letters (I don't know why).
This verse was at the bottom of one of these letters and I'm curious about whether or not it's real.

I don't want the medical studies from the United States Government, I already know it is bogus. So, for further depth, I want to know why we in the United States are not allowed to smoke Marijuana, when it's obvious, that the other legal drugs in this country (tobacco and alcohol) are proven to take millions of lives every year. If and when there is not viable proof that marijuana takes more lives.

So I asked this girl out for this upcoming saturday and got her number at the same time, but I called her yesterday afternoon and left a message but haven't heard back from her, so I pretty much know she's not into me (even though she seemed happy when I asked her out). What do I do? Are we just kinda stuck going on this date when I know she probably doesn't want to be there, and therefore, I wouldn't want to be either knowing she has no interest in me?
