Probably not THE greatest, but definitely one of the greatest. He was truly amazing. It's such a shame that he left this earth so young. He had many more great songs left in him.

No. Nirvana was a **** band and as a musician he was overrated. But AC/DC are great, Guns N Roses were great, and although I'm not a fan of Mudvayne, I have heard good things about them. I just personally cannot get into them.

The thing with Kurt, well his life and death are a thing of beauty. During his years with us, he more than changed music as we know it. He helped make a staple for a generation to follow. Pure genius. His death, well although unexpected, seems more like something that was supposed to happen. The albums he made were a testimony to this. Especially when they did unplugged. The whole thing had a death/suicidal theme. All in all, he was a great songwriter, as for a person, I didnt get to formerly meet him, but from what I have seen and read, he was very interesting to say the least.
