I have a friend who likes to send me right-wing conservative Christian chain letters (I don't know why).
This verse was at the bottom of one of these letters and I'm curious about whether or not it's real.
Anyone with a Koran, or knowledge of Islam, feel free to answer. Thank you.

"This is something to think about! Since America is
typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages...

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace."

46:21

And remember (Hud) the brother of 'Ad, when he warned his people in Al-Ahqaf (the curved sand-hills in the southern part of Arabian Peninsula). And surely, there have passed away warners before him and after him (saying): "Worship none but Allah; truly, I fear for you the torment of a mighty Day."

Surah 33:fifty 9 Prophet! tell thy better halves and thy daughters and the ladies of the believers to entice their cloaks close around them (whilst they circulate in a foreign country). which would be greater useful, so as that they may well be known and not aggravated. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. So the Quran says that females could positioned on the veil so as that they are in a position to be known (as pious Muslim females) and then no person might hassle flirting or annoying them. There are different reasons given in Hadith yet i'm purely showing the Quran.

It is NOT from Quran

Below is the actual verse

9:11 Yet if they repent, and take to prayer, and render the purifying dues, they become your brethren in faith: [17] and clearly do We spell out these messages unto people of [innate] knowledge!

Allah says in the quran he will protect it till the day of judgment and people can try changing it

The quote is not from anywhere in the Koran (or Quran).
Chapter 9 verse 11 actually says "But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and we make the communications clear for a people who know." (M. H. Shakir translation)

The eagle sounds like a plane to me, not a symbol of America. It still would mean war. I'm curious about the 'for it is written", written by whom? since the Koran is actually stating that, they are referring to anothers work? whose? the Bible, the old testament? the Bhagvadgita?
