Picture this: A man volunteers to help orphans on his off-days from work where he just found the cure for cancer last week. He saved a baby from a burning building on the way home from his work and then went home to his wife whom he honors and is faithful to even in thought. At dinner, he chokes on his food and dies.

Will this man go to heaven?

Does the fact that he is an atheist change your opinion?

Am I the only person who realizes that there is no such thing as a 'gay marriage' its all in the news about 'banning gay marriages' when it doesn't even exist. I have done research in this field for years, trying to find a way around such things for my father (who united with a man 3 years ago). All I have ever found are 'civil unions' which are legal in Vermont and Connecticut, and trying to get legalized in California. I would really like to think that these people would know better. Get a dictionary, it says marriage is the condition of living as husband and wife. They are called 'civil unions' and they are scarcely legal as it is. Its very frustrating when you do research in an area like this and then it gets falsely publicized. Please post opinions, thank you.

So why do you all think there’s no God?...really i just cant understand it??? it cant be because of "smarts". to say you know there is no God is to say you know everything there is to know, right? if not, then wouldn’t you have to accept the possibility that God exists in the part of knowledge you don’t know? if you know 99% of every thing there is to know in the universe... couldn’t God exist in the 1% you don’t have/know?

i could go on about what i think the reasons are...but i wanna hear what you say...yeah you could go on about big bang, evolution, fossils.... but in the end...how do you know there is no God? and none of this "how do you know there is a God"...it dont matter how i know...cause you’re not gonna believe it...i know it, you know it...so lets get that outta the way.

i wanna know how you know for a fact there isn’t.

convince me that im stupid and that im wrong... afterall im still human...if im wrong... i wanna know

This guy is a friend i made during school and he sat next to me. I consider us friends by all we went through during the school year. The end of the year came and i got all my friend's email addresses. His was one of the ones i got. Well i emailed everyone a "hey summer is here". He responded and gave me his cell. I have an interview scheduled with a company that I would really like to work for and is in a field I know extremely well and like. The main reason I work for my current company is because we help children who have a wide range of learning disabilities, an area I feel very passionate about. I am unhappy with certain aspects of my current company such as advancement opportunity, pay, benefits etc and the new company would have all the things I would like my current company to have. Another twist in the situation is my boss was recently diagnosed with cancer in her brain, lungs and heart. I have worked with her for over two years and it was devastating to hear the news. I don't know what to do - I have been debating leaving for the past year, but on the other hand I hate to leave when we just received news about our boss and we are about to go into our peak season - the summer. New job would mean more financial security for me and my husband and our family down the road.

I have to climb a flight of stairs 42 times a day. (I've counted)
The temperature on the cell blocks has been measued at 100 degrees.
