It completly depends on how much of that weight is fat and how active you have been, and how much you weigh right now.
If I were you, I would start working out 3-5 days a week for at least an hour. Work on cardio (running, jump rope, cycling) and muscle defintion (this will help lose weight faster and look better).
Whatever you do, develop an exericse pattern. If you continue it for 3 weeks straight, its almost guaranteed you will continue the schedule for 3 months.
Don't set a timelimit. I'd say you are shooting for 8months to a year. In the beginning you will be shedding pounds like crazy, but soon it will go down to normal level.

Alot. 60 lbs is a lot of weight to lose. It would probably take you months to do this. Just do as many exercises as you can. The ideal schedule would be having an M-W-F schedule for exercises so you could have rest time in between. Good luck!

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming,running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions,pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull,leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

You need to work out approximately 30-45 minutes of cardio or aerobics 4 to 5 times a week and you will loose approximately 5 pounds a week...

do teabo 3 times a week for 30 mins and eat 3 servings of grapefruit a day, and you will lose weight very quick, i lost 9 pounds the first week

5 days a week. 45 minutes of cardio, 45 minutes of weights. count your calories, and don't eat after 7 PM. I did it in about 2-3 months.

Everyone has a different body make up and metabolism but it all boils down to this.. decrease caloric intake increase exercise output = weight loss. And drinking water, tons, facilitates this even further.

you should exercise between 30 to 45 minutes every day - i would start out doing cardio and mainly weight loss excersizes then try to buil muscle by lifting weight and such you should also eat a balanced diet
