If we have a hosepipe ban, i plan to do my bit by turning down the cold tap that i have running a small hydroturbine to generate free electricity for my house. What do you plan to do to help save the planet.

I know of a very excellent pre-school teacher that was recently fired because of this incident.

One of her precocious two-year old students' bit her on the arm. She responded by gently nipping the child on his elbow. The child was astonishingly surprised that the teacher did this to him. His shocked retort was crying and showing the teacher's aide what happened.

Of course the teacher was terminated because she did not show professional re-direction in the child's misbehavior.

Question(s): Do you think she should have been fired? How would you have handled her "child biting her" situation?

I would seriously move to Australia if I had the money and the qualfs.
I am not skilled in anyway but am a hard worker. Is there any way I can get a visa to live in Oz or is it as hard as what I can make out.
I know that if I pay XXX amount of dollars the Australian Government will tell me if I can move to that country. But I not willing to pay that sort of money to be just told No. I know that i will never know if I try but is there any ways round this???

my husband wants me to start mixing milk with his formula and I have always heard that if you give a child milk before they are a year old it can cause them to have worse allergies.. he's almost eight months, and a friend of ours did this with their child at five months but im just not sure about it.
