I'll be there for 4 days and I've been told that it normally doesn't start snowing in that area until later, but I was just wondering if anyone who lives around there can let me know how likely snow that early is. I'm from Florida and I love snow, so I was hoping I'd get to see some while I was up there.

I'm flying to Paris next week, but we have a nine hour layover at Dulles International and my boyfriend & I were wondering if there's any sort of metro system to take you from the airport to the D.C area? We don't want to stay shacked up in the airport all day, but if we're better off just doing that than risking delays and stuff we will. I appreciate all the help!

My cousin is station in Andrews AFB in Washington DC, and wants to invite us to the air show next year. We live in NY. Can we stay in hotels inside base or near by while staying there. I know other bases have hotels for visitors but no idea there... Any one knows. She's enlisted Tsgt. so we don't know if she's allow to do so.

Ask for explanation for "aaa 4-diamond restaurant". The hotel has "the montpelier", an award winning aaa 4-diamond restaurant serving continental cuisine in a formal setting and "the retreat" restaurant for casual dining.

Hi,
Thinking about moving to Silver Spring, but too many to choose from. Can anybody recommend me some areas/apartments? I am looking for a place that is not so isolated, I can live by the street, having shops (like starbucks) right around the corner. thank you!!

I am headed to DC with my son on Oct 20th and was wondering what places that would be great to show a 8 year old Bear scout? I was hearing about a mall that you can pretty much walk to all the sites? Do you need to pay for parking or do you know of a good spot to get around the parking fees?

It seems from my research that Washington, D.C. is a very expensive place to live. I'm a recent university graduate and I would like to relocate there, but I'm not sure that I could afford it. Are there affordable suburbs nearby that are reasonably decent places to live?

I want to relocate from the boring state of Florida to the hustle bustle of Washington DC. How much money should I save before making the move? Even if I anticipate finding a job quickly, would a couple thousand be enough? Or should I save more?

I plan to go in the spring and I would like to know your opinion on the top three places I should visit. If you have any lodging suggestions those would also be appreciated. Thanks. (Oh yeah, these places don't have to be in D.C., like the Arlington cemetary isn't.) Thanks again!
