Depends on where you're traveling _from_ but 17th and I (corrected as noted below, but often written as the phonetic "Eye" in some business addresses) Streets NW is right at one of the Farragut West (Blue-Orange Line) station exits. The link below also includes a Trip Planner.

It depends on where you're traveling from, but you can take the Blue or Orange Line to Farragut West or you can get off at the Farragut North (Red Line station), K Street stop, and walk one block south.

There are also many buses that stop near there.

Actually when you do write the name of the street, Eye is correct so it does not get confused with the lower case L.

Anyhow, Blue Line to Faragut West, come up out of the station and you are there!

McPherson Square and Farragut West are both very close.
