I can't find good maps of either of these states online. Does anybody know if there are lands specifically reserved for Native Peoples in Alaska and Hawaii? I can only find information for the contiguous 48 states.

is it just a coincidence that the abbreviations of the states are made by taking the first and last letter?
CO-Colorado
VA-Virginia
or is this just a random coincidence?
or are there rules and that is why some states don't follow it?
NY New York
UT-Utah
just a random thought!

He wants somewhere near NYC to raise the kids near his family. Where is it reasonably priced to live and buy real estate, nice and safe, but not a tiny little bong town?

ok, so I'll be finished with grad school classes in a year and will have the option to basically move anywhere for an internship. I've thought a lot about moving to chicago, but now I'm thinking that maybe I should consider some other places as well. here are the things that I'm looking for in a a new location:

-good public transportation/train system (I want to be able to get places easily without driving a car)
-culturally diverse
-lots of interesting stuff to do for someone in their 20's

ha, thats about it. I'm really open to anywhere right now so please suggest a place, and also tell me *why* it'd be a good place to live.

thanks!!

Does anyone have any idea why you have to go through Springfield, Illinois to get from Houston, TX to Albuquerque, NM?? It doesn't make much sense.

My original plan was to go down near Great Adventure (in NJ) I would go down there July 3-July 6. The 3rd I would check into a hotel and I was going to go into the NYC or PA for dinner, the 4th was was going to go to the theme park only...the 5th i would go over to Hurrican Harbor. the 6th we would check out of the hotel and go back home. My boyfriend thinks it is too much but I dunno, can you give me some advice.
