Flight is Sunday 8/20 at 6:35 am. Have already seat assigment and boarding pass. American says you can do curbside baggage check, and self check-in in the terminal. This is for a domestic flight.

My Family with some In-laws are going to Long Beach for a conference the second weekend of September. We just found out that we screwed up on some paperwork and we missed out on getting good hotels at discounted rates. Now I'm Stuck. I'm making a list of all the places I want to spend my time at when I move to LA next year; this is what I have:

The Ivy in LA for lunches
The Beverly Center in LA for shopping
The Grove in LA for shopping
Club Hyde for partying (what city is this in?)
LAX for partying (what city is that in too?)
Dolce for dinners (and this one?)

that's all so far. I gravitate towards stuff that's more upscale and sometimes avoid places that are not because I wanna be hanging out with people who are more like me. any other suggestions?

We're considering going during the week before Christmas because it's quite a bit cheaper but I'm concerned about the weather and I wonder if rides will be down for maintenance.
