I’m flying to L.A. for my birthday in November. How is the weather at that time of the year there?

November can be a tricky month in California. Here in Southern California you can have weather ranging from hot to chilly. But it is mostly in the 70's with an occasional day in the 60's or 80's. Pack with layers in mind. That way you can put on more if it's cooler or take off some if it's warmer.

All in all the weather is pleasant.

Have a great birthday!

Summer ended in December last year. We had warm weather all the way to Christmas.

It all depends on what the weather wants to do. If the Santa Ana wind conditions go late into the fall, then you are in for warm, dry weather.....on the obverse, have had many cooler times during that month.......it's difficult to be able to judge what it's going to be like this early.

November is typically warm during the day, but chilly at night. Wear jeans and a T-shirt or capris, but bring a sweatshirt or jacket to put on later in the evenings.
