I'm making a list of all the places I want to spend my time at when I move to LA next year; this is what I have:

The Ivy in LA for lunches
The Beverly Center in LA for shopping
The Grove in LA for shopping
Club Hyde for partying (what city is this in?)
LAX for partying (what city is that in too?)
Dolce for dinners (and this one?)

that's all so far. I gravitate towards stuff that's more upscale and sometimes avoid places that are not because I wanna be hanging out with people who are more like me. any other suggestions?

thanks :)

The Ivy in LA is pretty good however there is also The Ivy by the Shore in Santa Monica. I hear that Kitson on Robertson (within walking distance to the Ivy in LA) is a fantastic place to shop. Lots and lots of celebrities shop there. The best place for cupcakes in Beverly Hills is Sprinkles Cupcakes. Enjoy!!

Enjoy!!

In addition to your list, add these: Universal Studios, Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, Santa Monica Pier, Westfield Mall, Sunset Strip, and Hollywood Walk of Fame. These are some ideas that I can think of, right now. Have fun!

I am from California. I just moved to Arizona, I MISS CALI!!!

The most fun places in Ca is of course Disneyland, my husband used to work there its the best place to work too!

We lived about 20 minutes from huntington beach, its really mellow and just serine! Not like most LA beaches. Its really a small but fun placr to hang out. Great for surfing and a nice bkie ride on the beach.

Redondo beach is fun too. The best place to eat is at Tonys fish market, the new one on the pier.

The best Mexican food is Marios Tacos in Pico Rivera.

The best pastrami sandwhich is at THE HAT in Alhambra

The best Burger joint is Tommys ORIGINAL SHACK on whittier blvd in Pico rivera

Definatly visit Placita Olvera, San Gabriel Mission, China town, Knotts berry farm, and when you get a chance go whale watching in Long Beach.

There is so much to do in LA. You are gonna love it!

The city walk at Universal Studios has some nice laid back clubs. It is in Hollywood. You can go to Universal Studios website to find the specific address.
