I am moving to Las Vegas sometime next year. My spouse works in t he culinary field and I have good employment options myself. I was wondering what the best area to buy a home in would be? It would be my first home and I want to live in a safe area. I have lived in Chicago, San Diego, and NY so I want to get away from overpriced living. Any suggestions??

My husband as always dreamed of seeing las vegas. I am not really bothered. I am a lot younger then him and although he is in good health I feel its quite a big responcibilty for me to take him all that way.I am looking at coach tours with saga, West Coast adventure.Has any body been with them and what was your experience? My parents travel to Vegas 10-12 times per year so they know the city well but my first trip there will be at the end of May. My parents are taking me & my boyfriend now that we're 21. So, I DO NOT need advice on safety or which hotel to stay at, etc. as my parents know all about that stuff. I do want to know what are some of the attractions on the strip that I should see. We're not going to go downtown. My parents aren't nightclub kind of people so they don't know about any of those or poker. So, what would you suggest I check out?
