I have always found that I can save money by booking the room and air separate. I book the air and hotel as far in advance as I can. I check the sites I list below for room rates, and compare those to the hotels own web site. A good many LV hotel will price match if their rate isn't the lowest.

I'm willing to work at it, but it does save a lot of money. After I book the hotel >through them< I don't give up, I continue to look for a better deal all the way up until I leave. By booking through the hotel, I have the advantage of possible finding a better deal, and if you're a player the hotel can reduce you rate or comp your room based on your play..

You can save the most money with careful planning >Avoid special events, large conventions & weekends.

Sign up for e-mail promotion offers >at hotel web sites, many of them allow you to sign up to receive special offers, these promotions are usually sent out a month of two in advance when the hotel has extra rooms to sell. You can pick up some great rates this way. You can beat these rates on return trips "if you're a player" >sign up for the slot club card and use it when you play, even if you don't think you play enough. You never can tell, when the hotel has rooms to sell it's better for them to have a low roller in that room than to have it set empty.

Grand Canyon is a protracted 6 hour plus force each and each way incredibly uncomplicated, greater relaxing to take the bus excursion, which will provide up at Hoover Dam. in any different case, you do no longer prefer a automobile. The airfare has long previous up. you prefer to holiday on Sunday and return on Thurs for greater valuable bargains. i'd look without postpone on the hotel information superhighway website like Excalibur or Tropicana or Circus Circus, appropriate bargains for rooms.

When using a site for discount airfare, make sure to check out the fees that they are charging for offering the fares.

I found two sites over the weekend where on the surface the fairs looked great, but they added $25-$35 per ticket in handling fees.

Expedia is a good site, but check the airline you want to fly's website for fares as well, sometimes they are cheapest.

I actually just booked tonight. I used CheapTickets.com.

I got an INCREDIBLE deal, BUT I also booked 5 months in advance. It all depends on when you book, and if its during a busy time of year. Hotels will cost more on the weekends than the weekdays also. So keep that in mind. :)

You can also do a google search periodically looking for "cheaptickets.com promotional codes", and depending on where you are traveling to, you can put in a code to get a discount.

Good luck!

check out southwest airlines for special fares online and check out www.vegasfreedom.com...best to book directly with hotel or get a package thru airline...these travel agencies charge TOO much. When you go get a players card and you will not have to pay for a room when you go back, thats what i do. Hope that helped

You don't say where you are flying from...might try Allegiant Airlines. They have some incredible prices for packages, if you come from an airport they fly from. Here is the website.
