I am a lot younger then him and although he is in good health I feel its quite a big responcibilty for me to take him all that way.I am looking at coach tours with saga, West Coast adventure.Has any body been with them and what was your experience? Thanks in advance.

Do go! My husband and I had no interest in Vegas for many years because we aren't drinkers and don't do much gambling, just a little on the slots.

As the first poster said... The place is amazing and then some. We fell in love with it and now go every spring, sometimes more often, spending a full week. The best way to describe it is to call it adult Disneyland!

Trust me... You won't be sorry. Just take your most comfortable shoes because all the hotels are enormous and you'll do lots of walking. We always rent a car and there's still lots of walking. We even spend one evening walking the entire strip in both directions from the Stratosphere to the MGM and we're around 60.

I'd also definitely catch a show or two and highly recommend Mystere at Treasure Island. It's spectacular and worth the price as it's a Cirque du Soleil performance and the highest rated show in Vegas.

Use this web site, clicking on all the different links and you'll find all the information you need. Vegas is an easy trip and once you have your air and hotel lined up it's easy to have fun without a lot of advance planning. Everything is right there on the strip!

I don't think I'd spend the extra money on a bus tour. We find the cheapest way to go is to buy our airfare and hotel, as opposed to a package.

Here's a link showing where all the hotels are. You could go to each web site and check prices. For the least amount of walking I'd stay at Bally's and ask for a room with a view of the Bellagio fountains. Besides the best view you'd be right in the center of the strip, across the street from both Bellagio and Caesars and connected to Paris...

if you are looking at tours to come to Las Vegas, Yes, that can be a big pain and hassle.

Many tours will start here. Some stay here and travel elsewhere.
As for who to go with? Check out the Sr centers in your areas and see if they have a group tour coming here. Better deals that way and you travel with people your own age.

I spent 3 night in Vegas a few years ago. I'd say - go - and be prepared to be amazed. Everything is opulent, the hotels are out of this world, we stayed at the Mirage. There is so much to do there. Everyone thinks you have to gamble, but we didn't. It was fantastic and I'd go again. Have fun!
