The New York New York hotel is mid-priced and right on the strip. The casino is not large, but right across the street is the MGM which has a huge casino.

Well it really depends on the amount of $$ you want to spend.
I go for moderate priced hotels and New York, New York has been my favorite of the three in which we have stayed. Paris is another favorite.
Having walked into all the hotels, IF money were NO object I would stay at either Bellagio or Caesars Palace.

The Wynn is beautiful, Steve Wynn built it for his wife and the Fashion Show Mall is right across the street. The Venetian is another beautiful one, right in the heart of things. The MGM might be a choice if you're concerned with price, they always have deals. You really can't go wrong on the strip, most rooms are clean and well kept along with helpful staff. It's according to what you're looking for go to www.lasvegas.com for more help.

It's so good, I'll say it again!
I loved the Monte Carlo, it's centrally located on the strip and very clean and neat. The employees are very friendly. The dealers and cocktail waitresses are the best in vegas. The pool is nice and they have a good selection of food. I've stayed in cheaper and in more expensive places, Monte Carlo is still my fav.

The cheapest place that is upscale and has a good special is the best place to hang in Vegas Hey, live the good life for less, that's what I say.

Its like asking where you want to go for dinner? And nothing more.
How many choices do you have in your town to eat?
you need to narrow it down for a good answer. time of year, ages (not just "2 adults" and budget.
you have the $49 Goldin Palm all the way to the $45,000 Hugh Hefner Suite at The Palms.
Do you want noise and action with a lot of young, hip kids spending Daddy's money, or hang with the tourists?
its all here

You are best to stay at the cheapest place you can get on the strip. Why stay at an expensive place when you're free to walk around and enjoy all of them at anytime. The best place to gamble (I like it because I'm not rich) is Slots-A-Fun for their $2.00 craps table and $3.00 blackjack. it's right next to circus circus and across the street from the riviera. Vegas is an awesome time!

Depends on your budget and who you are going with. If you have money, definitely MGM. Any hotel on the stripe is luxury and nice. however they are not my favorite i freaking love El Cortez. Being young and not having too much to spend, i always stay in El Cortez. I rather spend the money i save on party and casino. Only staying in the hotel for sleep so no point paying insane money for it
