My parents travel to Vegas 10-12 times per year so they know the city well but my first trip there will be at the end of May. My parents are taking me & my boyfriend now that we're 21. So, I DO NOT need advice on safety or which hotel to stay at, etc. as my parents know all about that stuff. I do want to know what are some of the attractions on the strip that I should see. We're not going to go downtown. My parents aren't nightclub kind of people so they don't know about any of those or poker. So, what would you suggest I check out?

I tell everyone to see the show at the Excalibur. It has jousting and sword fighting and is very entertaining. When I went I was seriously hungover and I still had a great time. You even get squab(cornish game hen) and dragons blood soup (vegetable broth)for your meal.

I am planning to go back to Vegas as well , so excited! I posted a Q just now just to see if anything is new, it has been 3 years since I was there! I do recommend that you (if you drink) go to the MGM and eat at the Mexican place and have a pineapple Margarita!

if you arent down town there is no point to visit here unless you go to hoover dam or fly over the grand canyon. the rest of the place is just houses, shopping centers and so on, like any other town on earth.

go see cirque du soleil's show "o" @ the bellagio. Tickets are expensive, but well worth it! It's a must see!!
