We went on the tour. Told it was only a 30 minute deal and it took 4 hours. In exchange we got a free dinner and tickets for a show. Overall, my time is worth more to me, the show was OK and the meal was fine, but not worth the frustration of 4 hours saying NO. They transport you by bus to the village and use hard sell, hard close tactics. Make it sound great, but not a great deal. They feed on your emotion, group celebration when they "hook" a big one into signing up (only 225/mo for 7 years) . You are then at their mercy of transporting you back to the hotel and some had to wait an hour for the bus.Tahiti is very nice and I am staying there in March. We bought a package for 500.00 that gave 1 free week at any of their locations.Kind of like those FREE drinks everyone thinks they get in Vegas as long as you are spending money and tip 3.00 a drink.
The discount travel deals they offer is no better than anyone can find through any travel site.
If you have nothing better to do, go and get the free meal and show ticket. We only bought the bottom line offer after 12 NO's due to our travel habits and with my job, I travel throughout the country and some overseas. Was not a loss for me, but no great deal either.

This is a time share HARD sell presentation where you must be at for at least two hours. Tahiti Village is not on the Strip and not an easy walking distance. And what two shows? Some times it is better to pay your own way and be in total control of your vacation time. And find a great deal and stay on the Strip. A time share is like an apartment you have one week (or more) you buy to use the place. It is equipment with furniture and linens, etc., but you have to leave it the way you found it. It is similar to a motel but you have a financial (long tern) committment. And you don't just get to pick THE week you want, rather what is available. I would strongly suggest you think about it before you invest.

My husband and I just went through their tour. It seems like a really nice place and we even signed a contract to buy a unit. However, we canceled once we saw that we could buy a unit for MUCH cheaper on the resale market.
They are currently on a real aggressive marketing campaign all over Las Vegas and Southern California. The people who worked there really seemed to be happy working there, but we just couldn't justify paying the price they were asking.
You can check out their website at the link below.

Time Share... OOPs, I mean Vacation Resort....
yes, the 90 minute tour is really 4 hours of saying NO.
But for a free vacation, it could worth it for some people who just need to get out of town for awhile.
Locals buy time shares here, becasue we can swap them for other places in the world easy

I think it's a timeshare place.. you know the places where you are given a certificate for "2 free nights" ....
This leads me to believe it looks really nice from the outside - but you probably have to deal with a high pressure sales person.
And maybe your job will be to be the "high pressure salesperson" .. yuck! :)
