When I came my first time, i simply wanted to see all the fantastic hotels, and you can roam through the main floors of any of them, the casinos are there and shops and resturants , lots of them have small free shows, and most have big expensive shows as well, some are fantastically decorated, the venetian has real canals inside and out and boats on them, the bellagio has a botanical garden in the lobby and outside the dancing waters show at night, the mirage has a huge fish tank with sharks, a dolphin show that costs, you can see one of the white tigers most of the time, there is a volcano that comes out of a water fountain there and the pool outfront is beautiful. the aladin and the sahara are inspired by the middle eastern bazzars, the luxor is a pyramid with the dig of tutankhamon in it and a cool shopping area and huge statues inside the door. the excalibur is like a castle and at night they have a jousting show and dinner in the basement, ny ny is set up like new york streets in the shopping area, and it has a roller coaster, circus circus has an ammusement park on the back in a red metallic dome. there is something for everyone, treasure island has a pirate ship battle every night in the summer. ceasars palace has talking roman sculpture ,

The best fun I had in two 2-week trips was when I got curious one morning and rang up the sky-dive place. Well worth it, not scary, just beautiful. Felt like I had just paddled out into a swimming pool. You could lose the money it costs to do this on a couple of slot machines and have no fun at all. A tandem dive is an easy instant good time.

go to a show or two,
walk through the casinos
go bungee jumping
give yourself 50 bucks to gamble, that's all and go through it slowly, savoring the free drinks
watch the people--it's a trip
stay in air conditioned buildings if you're there in summer
enjoy your hotel pool
go to coca cola world and taste all the different flavors
stay up really late one night and notice how in the casino you can't tell what time it is and there are no clocks so people will just keep gambling away...it's a trippy place

for god's sake DON'T collect the hooker cards from the mexicans on the sidewalk like the moron said he would do. they are not real hookers, and it just keeps those idiots on the street handing out those cards and creating garbage. want a hooker, a REAL hooker, drive an hour to pahrump and go to a brothel.

I'd try to collect all the hooker cards handed out by the disheveled Mexicans on the Strip.
