Definately stay out of Old Las Vegas and North Las Vegas. Some richer, but not too rich newwer areas to move are Mountains Edge, Seven Hills, Summerlin, Southern Hills, Alainte, and of course the Green Valley area. These communities are all in different locations of Las Vegas so you should see were you would be working before deciding. Traffic has become a real issue here.

There are many great places to live in Las Vegas! Being a resident and a Real Estate Broker in the area since1996 makes me aware of the beautiful neighborhoods. My favorite is the Master Planned community of Summerlin. It has a new shopping center opening Oct 8th 2014 and has over 150 parks and great schools and three neighborhood Casinos which have movies, restaurants and shopping. For the best in World Class hiking trails there is Red Rock National Conservation Area and for Golf Summerlin has public courses at Siena and Arroyo Courses in Red Rock Country Club and private courses at the Ridges Bear's Best. Check out my blog at www.SummerlinHomes.wordpress.com for more information. I keep up on all the news in Summerlin and I am an expert in property values and marketing of homes in Summerlin Las Vegas! thanks Daniel Graber Real Estate Broker Vip Realty

For a quarter million dollars you can get a 3 bedroom, two bath brand new and in a good neighborhood.
The crime is low as long as you keep away from large amounts of rentals.
The schools are well funded and your children can get out of it what they get in to it.
Stay away from the area west of the Stratosphere to North Las Vegas. That area is dangerous.

The housing for $250,000 is a three story home on a postage stamp lot. 8 feet of dirt around the house.
I looked at them and don't know where you would park more than one car. You could pay more and get a good home in some of the areas that have homes 10 or more years old and find a good one.

Just stay out of Old Las Vegas near Fremont street. Everyplace else is nice and many houses are not very old. Do you know hot it gets in the summertime? It's feels like a hot blow dryer; I'm not kidding. This is why nobody comes out until the sun sets.

while unemployed you do no longer purchase domicile(s). till you have settled down and prefer the placement you're working at. that's a minimum of three months - you do no longer know the place the loos are, the 1st month!! yet circumstances are diverse from guy or woman to guy or woman, city to city and interest to interest - and no-possible propose you heavily. checklist the specialists and cons. Peace.
