What I mean is when you get to maui, after you get your car and everything, the best thing to do is go to walmart and shop all out. We are going to be BBQ'ing and what not. We are going to be staying at the huge pink building, aka embasy on Maui. Walmart, I think they have a costco. Theres a safeway somewhere down the road near the embasy. Thanks a bunch

also, any suggestions on souvenirs that are not so expensive, but good to buy for friends? one friend requested coconut bra (loll dont 'ask ), but i heard they were like 20 bucks...hmm..suggestions are welcome.

we're first doing a 2 1/2 day tour ..but thenthe other days we're free to do whatever..we're planning to go see pearl harbor for a day, go into a submarine, see a magic show for a night...but other than that..i don't know what to do exactly. and don't say hit the beach, b/c we're probably going ot do that every afternoon after sightseeing anyway.

We have less than a week--we enjoy outdoor activities, hiking, nature but if it's going to be really hot (August) we might enjoy taking some guided tours?

I'm going to Kaua'i, but before I get there I stop in Kona and Honolulu. My question is do I need to check in at the front desk each time I stop, or do I just go to the gate and get my boarding pass there?

I plan on moving there in a couple months and I was just wondering if it was a nice place to live. Is it clean? What about crime? Any other cities on Oahu that are nice, yet affordable?

If you are wondering what kind of competition it is it is figure skating or in other words "ice skating".

Friends are 18, 19 year olds.
I'm going to Oahu.
Something meaningful - no keychains or shotglasses..
Maybe something I can only get in Hawaii..?

We will have only two days in Honolulu. How should we spend the time?

I never been to hawaii but i see the nice views and commercials of it. However, when I talk to people who live there, they said it's over rated. Is it true that it's better to visit than the live on the island?
