when you are an adult you won't get homesick as easily. You probably won't change your mind, most people want to go to Hawaii. It is a very nice place! Get there if you can...it will be worth the two weeks separated from your family...

I used to want to go to India because it always seemed so magical. It still does, but now I worry about the weather, the food, and the travel arangements.
Trust me- when your older, you will still want to go to Hawaii because it's gorgeous, especially with a bf or gf, and you won't have any problems leaving your family behind. When you get older, being away should get easier.

There are some people who are locked up and will NEVER get to go to the places they dream of going. Some people on parole won't be going anywhere, either. When you get older, go and see the places you want to see. By then, you might feel ok to go far away and you know your family will be there when your trip is done. I want to see England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales IF I CAN EVER AFFORD IT!

Well, when I was a child (teen), I had a Hawaiian penpal, and loved to listen to Hawaiian music. And now, I have been to Hawaii five times and am a wife and mother and a grandmother!!

Most people want to go to Hawaii, and I'm sure it won't go away. You might not live there, even if just for a vacation, you would still want to go.

I'll become more interested in traveling to Hawaii when they build a NASCAR track there.
My wife intends to get me there before that happens, though.

Some things are worth waiting for, and if you want to go bad enough, it won't change when you get older.

i used to think going to australia would be the AWESOMEST thing EVER when i was a kid. now that i'm grown up it just doesn't seel like it would be that cool. i mean, i'm sure there's neat stuff there but... i dunno, it's definetly lost something... and i know the cost of airfair and that it's a 24 hour flight, that might have ruined it a little too.
