My husband and I are moving to Denver next summer and are having a difficult time deciding what area to live in. We would prefer not to live downtown or capital hill area. Maybe a suburb? Please help!

How often do you actually get tornados??? We may be moving there from Arizona, where natural disasters have yet to happen in my lifetime here. So tornados have me curious and quite scared. What other natural disasters does Denver see?

I am curious to find out more about K-town in the Denver area. How is it? Is it authentic? How does it compare to other K-towns across the country.

I have been to several across the country (as have my fiancée and her family) We are thinking about moving to Denver and were surprised to find out that there is a Korea Town in the Denver area. We have not yet had a a chance to visit, and when we do, we are interested to know if it is worth the time that we will have.

Thanks for your help.

I currently live in Southern California and love it, but cost of living is getting way to high. I heard Denver is one of the most beautiful, fun, and nicest places to live. Can anyone please help me in finding the specific neighborhoods/areas that are good for a 26 year old, single, asian male professional to still have fun, but with a lower cost of living? THanks! I'm also considering Atlanta, GA as an option so if you know about both cities what is your preference on which one you would pick?

I'm absolutely terrified of ticks because my dog got bitten by one. And I love camping. But every time I go camping, I get so scared of the ticks in the campsite that I don't have any fun. What's the best way to keep ticks off of me and my puppy?

I mean really. I don't want somone to spout off crap from Wikipedia or some website that doesn't really delve into it.
I am looking for information on the best areas to live (cost, schools, diversity, cleanliness, safety), what the job market is like, what the weather is like, traffic conditions, the overall attitude of the people, etc.
Thanks!

My family and I want to move to Colorado Springs, and I was wondering what are any suburb towns around that area that are close enough to drive into the city for work and that may be a little less expensive to live in, I am not really used to driving in snow so I don't want to live too far outside of town, or on any bad mountain roads. Also what are the areas of Colorado Springs that are nicer to live in and visit. I am moving from a town that has a pretty high crime rate so I am kind of tired of dealing with scumbags (at least in high numbers) thanks for any help.

I will be moving to the Denver area by May 08. I was wondering which areas are the best for kids (schools, activities, etc). Another factor with our move is that I am a nurse and dont want to commute too far. (But my knowledge on the health systems there are again limited). Also area most areas convenate to DTC (this is where my husband will work). Thanks!

I am moving from high priced California in search of a better quality in life. I just recently married and want to relocated to start a new family. We have decided on Denver, CO. It seems like a great place to live with no major natural distaster to worry about. But please tell me some stories if there is something to worry about like hail storms. I also would like to know if there are Asian area, White area, Latino area, and the Black area since I am very new to Denver... Could you tell me what area I should avoid and what area I should live first? Thank you so much.... your input is highly appreciated.
