I have never been to Denver but I am planning to go there in August. I am going to the football game and six flags and I will have my car. If anyone has any suggestions of a nice reasonably priced hotel that would be great!

I've had nothing but mediocre meals during my visits to Estes. Have you had a good meal at a restaurant there? If so, where? I'm only interested in personal or word-of-mouth recommendations -- no search results from restaurant guides, please.

I may be moving to Colorado when I graduate, and Denver looks like my best bet for work and a relatively inexpensive apartment. However, one of my reasons for wanting to live in Colorado in the first place is because I'd love a view of the mountains - I've had a love for it since I went to Boulder for a visit a few years back. I can't afford to live in Boulder, though, so I'm hoping Denver has a decent view as well...anyone know?

I'm looking to rent a cottage or cabin a place where the kids can play in the snow and I can sit by the fire. Maybe do a tourist thing or two. I just don't know where to go?

My Family is considering a move to the Denver Area. I grew up in Dallas, and my Wife in Houston. We have also lived in Portland, OR. If anyone could provide comparisons of these places from having lived in each of them I would appriciate the feedback. We have been looking at the southern suburbs, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Parker, Aurora, maybe Castle Rock(though it seems a bit too far out). My wife and I are in our 30's and our kids are not in school yet, but my oldest son will soon be starting kindergarden.
