We live in the southeast and husband's company might be transferring him to Denver. He says even though the weather is colder it doesn't feel as cold because of the low humidity. Is this true or just some BS someone invented to make him be OK about transferring?

I did not look into Aurora, CO aside from looking into Castle Rock & Westminster. I found an abundance of things to do there on the internet. It looks pretty nice. Do you know anything more on Aurora, personally? Any areas I should watch for? Good place to raise a family?

I will be traveling to Colorado for the holiday (to be specific, La Junta, CO) for about 9 days. While out there, I'd like to go snowboarding-- can someone recommend a ski resort I should go to near La Junta? If anyone know of any package deal (hotel and ski lift ticket), let me know that too.

My family (husband & 2 young kids) have to relocate to Colorado. We've decided on Westminster, CO. We are coming from the northeast area and we are used to and like to be exposed to different types of people, let alone interesting restaurants. Even though CO seems beautiful I understand that some areas can be a bit conservative,100% white and under the 'Bible Belt". That is just not me and I would not like to feel left out. Is Westminster (aside from Boulder) a good place to look?

I currently live in the northeast part on the country (NJ), and my husband, my 2 children and myself have to move to CO. I narrowed it to Westminster & Castle Rock. I like to be able to be in a large or be near a large town area with good schools and nice people. Which town is better and not boring since we will not know anyone.

We want to go to Colorado Springs this summer. We've been stationed there before in 91, long time ago. I know there were some cute motels on the way to Old Colorado City. Those motels were all single cottages, not one big building. Does anybody know what I'm talking about. Do you know the names of those places and maybe a website?

I'm from the Colorado area and I'm wondering about fun stuf to do in Denver, but not necessarily the normal stuff (museums, the mint, the zoo, etc.) Cool restaurants or bars, offbeat sights, weird activities, local shops, events, whatever. Also, links to travel guides that might feature this kind of thing would be great. Tanks!
