I have heard good things about it and am interested in moving there. It would be myself, my husband and our 2 daughters (2 & 5). We would want to start in an apartment in a decent area and was wondering if anyone could recommend any... 3 BR from $600-$800 a month. If not Ft. Collins, somewhere else beautiful in Colorado, but not in a major city. Thanks to answers!

Colorado-Denver. I have a place in mind, it costs somewhere in the range of $500 a month. I have read bad stuff about Aurora(including on yahoo answers) but if it was truly that bad then why does this place and others in the area cost so much? If it was a bad place to live, then wouldn't stuff be lower, like in the $200-$300 range?

My family and I are going to Colorado next month, and we have Vail as a place we want to visit for a day. We don't want to ski. We just want to have fun in the snow and get a nice view of the mountains. Are lift tickets necessary to enter Vail? How do they work?

Fort Collins is a great place to live, employment up, schools are great, real estate same, people friendly and weather great. Just don't know if I should just up and go and then worry about a job later which should be no problem. Denver and Boulder are nearby. Please advise, thanks!!

I will be graduating college soon with a Marketing degree and I am looking to move to Colorado. I am assuming Denver would be the best place for jobs. I am willing to commute about an hour. I would like to live in a small town with around 3000 people at the most 5000. I would like a town with shops and eateries, (kind of like a main street usa feel.). I know this is a shot in the dark, but I thought someone on here should know a place! I have been looking online and found Evergreen, Lafayette and others, but they aren't suiting my needs. Thanks in advance!

If you visit www.zillow.com and look at the "Heat Map" for price-per-square-foot values in Colorado, you'll see a sharp, north to south line at the boundary between Cold Creek County and Jefferson County, west of Denver. In Cold Creek County, the average per-square-foot prices are in the $150-$200 range, but just across the line in Jefferson County, they're in the $300-$400 range.

What gives?

...or so I'm told. (I've never been there, but would like to visit and possibly relocate, based on all the good things I've heard about it).

I know that Denver has a higher percentage of federal jobs than any other city except for Washington. This makes it all the more frustrating that it's difficult to relocate and get established there.

There is a bus that does it for $130 one way which is too much for me. Then I thought, maybe I can catch Greyhound or the Amtrak to Aspen but it doesn't go there it only goes to Glenwood Springs. Is there a bus from Glenwood Springs to Aspen? Does the Roaring Fork bus go there?

We've lived our entire lives in Michigan.

It's a promotion and a great opportunity for him. He said he's not going to go if I'm not on board - so of course I'll do this for him.
