Fort Collins is a great place to live, employment up, schools are great, real estate same, people friendly and weather great. Just don't know if I should just up and go and then worry about a job later which should be no problem. Denver and Boulder are nearby. Please advise, thanks!!

If I were you, I would look into seeing how many jobs are available in your specific job specialty before doing anything. You could look online at their newspaper, which will also give you an idea of housing costs, either rentals or homes for sale.
If you have an area of expertise, it would be smart to investigate before moving, since once you're there, you MUST have a place to stay, and if you are planning to purchase a home, your employment history is shot right there.
Good luck

Depends on how long you think you can survive without income? Could you live 6 months without income? What skills do you have and are there jobs in the area, with employers that are hiring that you can get on with? For example, HP is in Fort Collins, but they next to impossible to get a job with.

Generally speaking if you expect some sort of professional type job, then I would get the job first. If are expect some other sort of job, like waitress or similar - then move first.

Ft. Collins is a college town. lots of young adults.

Loveland is south about 15 Min's. cheaper living a cleaner town but old fashion looking city.

I would get a paper from the local paper, Rocky Mt. New Tribune, if it is still being printed, and find a job first. But if you have money saved up, then just go if you plan to live in the area. There work for sure.

I would have a job lined up unless you have 6 months to a years worth of living expenses saved up.

If you have the money to just get up and go.. then go for it, but if you don't have that much money to survive while you are looking for a job.. then get a job first. It all depends on how much money you have.
