I LOVE IT!
Background Information: Military, have moved 14 times in 19 years to locations including St. Louis, LA, Oklahoma City, Montgomery, Washington D.C., Munich, Tokyo, and on and on.
I've lived in Denver for two years now and I absolutely love it. Life is very very active for starters. Hiking, Biking, Skiing, and Water Sports are all very popular, but we're far from being hippies. The actual Downtown area is beautiful and active just about all the time. The people are very friendly and the nightlife and dining scene is one of the best in the country. Forbes has ranked Denver as the best location for up and coming businesspeople and singles alike for the last few years. I STRONGLY recommend it.

My husband and I lived there for a few years after we married. We both regret having left there. It is a nice city, clean (in general), multi-cultural, tons of things to do right in the city and surely surrounding. The weather is good all year round in my opinion. It is also said to be one of the most educated cities in America in that it has more citizens that are higher educated than any other city.
It is really a nice place to live.
