Average annual snowfall for Denver is about 60" Maybe 4-6 inches per snow fall. Here today gone tomorrow.Heaviest months are March and April. A piece of cake compared to DC. I'm from Jersey but spent 3 years at Ft, Belvoir
We also don't get those cold rainy bitter days.Plenty of sunshine

Nicer than Washington DC most likely. It can be cold and snowy one day and 70 degrees the next.

Biggest problems are pollution and wind.

When the weather is cold and inversion layer establishes a pocket that holds the pollution.

Every winter there are periods of strong winds, sometimes as high as 100MPH.

Snow doesn't hang around the Denver/front range area all winter like it does in places like Boston. The mountains get lots of snow, but not Denver.

Much more than Houston! You'll love it. It's actually WINTER there not hot & wet like our god awful ones. If you're from DC, it shouldn't bother u. Snow can fall as early as September & late as May. Lucky I can't wait to go back lol.

It snowed more last winter than it has in the previous three years. Even if we get a heavy snow, which is seldom, it will usually start to melt in about two days. Most minor snows will start to melt the next day, if the sun is shining.
